We cross a stream and ascend through staggered rock formations, where it open up in to a freshwater lagoon. In the summer months you can take a dip, it is a truly wonderful experience, this is our first rest point.
On resuming our route we ascend along a natural beauty trail which is untouched by tourism. Then on to a typical spanish village where we can take light refreshments where we can command the most spectacular views.
On our return route we pass through mountain area where the colors dramatically change and are truly amazing.
We have now completed our route and can stop at the nearby cave bar restaurant (La Cueva) where you can enjoy tapas, light refreshments or there speciality paella.
