Can we buy water on the trails?

A litre bottle of water is provided by us at the beginning of each walk, however, you must drink little and often and if you feel a litre is not sufficient, it is important that you purchase more the night before the walk.

Do I have to change accommodation during my week?

No. We believe that staying in one location throughout your holiday enables you to get the best from your stay. It allows you to unpack, settle in and enjoy your surroundings.

I am not really fit, can I still book with you?

Our walks are divided into 2 levels to suit different abilities. Comfortable/Moderate being the easiest and Energetic the hardest. There are a few steep climbs on most (but not all) of the trails, but there are plenty of rest periods during the day.

Can children come on the trails?

Yes, but we suggest Comfortable or Moderate walks only, due to the distance and difficulty level. It is important to note that transport is not available until the end of the walk, (unless due to injury) We leave the option to you! Please look at choose your level

How long do I have to spend traveling to my daily walk?

Our walks are with a maximum traveling time of 45 minutes by car. We are aware that our clients are unhappy about lengthy transportation times and therefore we keep the journeys to a minimum.

What is a typical walking day?

You will be collected from your accommodation and taken to your trail. Departure time from the accommodation is dependent on the time of year. During your walk, the pace is set by the group. You will be able to take plenty of breaks, enjoy the views, take photographs and stop for lunch. At the end of your walk you will be transported back to your accommodation, where you can enjoy the local town with its many cafes, bars and restaurants.

What happens if I have an accident?

Your safety is paramount. Our guides carry mobile telephones with them at all times. They will be able to contact medical or rescue services when required. It is a condition of booking that you are adequately insured. An appropriate holiday insurance must include accident cover. We also advise you to carry a current European Health Insurance Card which is available at your local Post Office and is recognised here in Spain. Please see our Terms & Conditions.

What languages are spoken?

Our guided tours are held in English, however our guides speak English and Spanish.

What if I do not want to walk on the day?

Should you, or any member of your group, not wish to walk on any particular day, this is not a problem. However, please let your guide know in advance.

Can you tailor make my itinerary?

Yes, we will discuss specific requirements, bearing in mind the group's profile.  Please email info@walkingholidaysspain.eu
